The Art or Roslyn Fassett, Deborah Menzel l Dressler and Linda Winton

Weekends noon to 4PM. Opening reception May 5th 5-7

In The May Exhibit  three artists relate to nature. Deborah Menzell Dressler offers flocks of sculpted birds looking out at the universe. Linda Winton’s watercolors and pastels reflect the momentary eloquence of a landscape. A playful, surreal collage grouping women on and above the earth is conceived  by Roslyn Fassett.

Roslyn Fassett is a NY artist. Studied at Cooper Union and exhibited in the Atlantic and Prince Street Galleries. She moved to Warwick in the 70’s and enjoys its fields and forests.

Deborah Menzell is a native New Yorker, now living in White Plains.

Her sense of the spiritual in nature is gently revealed in her carvings

of birds, which she offers as solitary creatures and united within a group.

Linda Winton when painting tries to let go of past associations, to return to the present moment and the life in the form of a tree, the inscrutability of the rocks. Sometimes it is as though they embody the secret of life.

The three exhibitors, Deborah Menzell Dressler, Roslyn Fassett and Linda Winton are members of the Institute for Religious Development.
