Arcieri was a founding member of the New York Spiral Group (1950s – 1960s), a group of 16 diverse artists that included Joseph Meert, Margaret Mullin and Peter Blanc. Eugene was the recipient of many awards, including the 1983 Woodstock Association’s Yasuo Kuniyoshi Fund Award for his collage, Persona.
