The Warwick Drawing Group is pleased to announce an upcoming exhibition at the Amity Gallery, “Form and Figure” showcasing a collection of figure drawings created by group participants over the past two years. The exhibition celebrates the art of life drawing—an age-old practice of observing and rendering the human form from a live model.
The works on display reflect the unique styles and perspectives of each artist, developed through weekly non-instructional sessions. These gatherings provide a space for artists of all skill levels to refine their practice, experiment creatively, and connect with fellow artists. Some pieces were created entirely during the sessions, while others were expanded upon in the artists’ studios.
The Warwick Drawing Group currently meets every Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center in Chester, New York. All are welcome to attend and experience the quiet focus and creative energy of life drawing.
